We are a friendly, family focussed, evangelical, community church based on the Horringer Court Estates on the Western outskirts of the lovely market town of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
Our aim is to be an expression of Christ's Body in the local community and to find creative ways to express God's love to those around us. Church is not a building but it's the people of God coming together as a family , in work and in worship, to reach out to the wider community with God's love and compassion.
We don't have a church building at the present time but meet for Sunday worship in the local school. Other church activities take place in a variety of venues throughout the week.
We believe church, and in particular worship, should be fun as well as meaningful for everyone.
Worship is a very important part of what we do but church is a lot more than just a Sunday service - it's about people, it's about living and enjoying life to the full as a vibrant and diverse community.
Please DO come along and join in - you will be very welcome!
FAMILY WORSHIP SERVICE
Sundays at 10.30am at Horringer Court Middle School, Glastonbury Road, Bury St.Edmunds (coffee is served from 10.00am). Our services are quite informal, a warm and friendly welcome is guaranteed, so come along and give us a try.
Our aim is to glorify Jesus and to join as His people to praise Him and worship together in Spirit and truth. We have a hearing-loop for those with hearing difficulties and an effective public address system. Readings and song words are projected on a screen so the whole service is easy to follow.
We normally share the breaking of bread (Holy Communion) on the first Sunday of the month.
Special all-age family services are held on occasions like Mother's Day as well as at Christmas and Easter.
There are various children's groups which have activities for the different ages and a youth group for the 13+. More information on the 'Activities' page.
